Arts & Crafts Society Forum Terms of Service

All forums on the Arts and Crafts Society are moderated. To make the forums valuable to all users please read and adhere to the following guidelines.

In using the forum, we expect common sense and respectful participation. The following guidelines should be read before posting for the first time.

• Nicknames that are inflammatory, vulgar, promotional, or rude will be removed.
• All discussions are moderated for foul language and commercialized promotional posts. If you want a commercial listing, please contact us for an advertising listing.
• Play nice. Other forum participants and moderators should be treated with courtesy and respect. No flaming is tolerated. Disagreements are expected, but civility must prevail. Failure to observe basic rules of courtesy may result in banning you from further participation in the forum.
• Because your posting may be more pertinent to another on going discussion, or it might spawn its own thread, it may be moved as the ACS administrator deems appropriate.
• Adult language or content will be removed immediately. Anything that is illegal will also be removed.
• Copyrighted content of any type (images, email, press releases, newsletters, etc.) should not be used. Short, attributed quotations and appropriate links to content will be allowed depending on relevance.
• The ACS forum is not to be used for conducting personal vendettas. It is never appropriate to use this forum for the resolution of personal disputes with members or companies. Claims of action, flames, and calls to action against any company or person will be removed.
• Please do not drop promotional urls, signature files, or specifics that would lead people to your site. Signing your name is fine, however commercialized posts or résumé signatures will be edited. We tend to err on the side of caution to protect the integrity of the system.
• Affiliate based URLs are not allowed anywhere on the system. Advertising is not permitted. Please stay within the topic area of the forum you are posting a message in, and within any topic that another poster may have started.
• You agree not to hold ACS or its members liable for anything stated within the forums. You are responsible for your own posts and agree not to hold ACS liable for any messages posted.
• Signing up a user name that is an obvious domain name or product name will be removed. This is out of unfair promotion considerations as well as trademark implications.
• You will not copy and retransmit any information from these forums without first getting the permission of the original author of the message and an ACS administrator.
• If you need to discuss forum policy, please contact ACS via email. We are open to your input, but can not have policy discussed in an open forum. However, ACS administrators may initiate surveys from time to time that result in policy changes. Anyone posting another member's private information without permission will be banned.
• When a message is placed in any forum system, you are granting a soft license to the site to use it.

We reserve the right to edit any and all content that has been placed on the Arts & Crafts Society forum.
