I bought this at the Rose Bowl Swap meet a couple of years ago. It's rather large but the craftsmanship is very good, the patina reminds me a bit of the Cobre works that are coming out of Mexico but those seem to be all marked, this has no markings on the bottom and the seam is very faint to detect considering it is so large. The Vessel stands 16 1/2" tall and is 20" in diameter at the base. There seem to be three bands of patina to it.

The picture is a bit fuzzy but you can just barely see the seam of where it comes together.

Dano,
Nice piece of work. Can you show us the bottom as well. and closeups of the top rim and the "seam". Best, Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |

Didnt take any pics of those parts Fred but I will, have to resize them before I can post and wifey is the pro at that! The top is a rolled rim, the bottom is heavier gauge copper with understandably lesser attention to details. I will try to get the pics and posts done soon.

A view of the bottom, there were no real good pics of the seam and upon further examination I can barely make it out myself. In the pics in the above posts the dark kinda black stripe that runs vertically is what looks like the seam but it fades as it goes higher.
