Rico,

Avon Coppersmiths was started by a former Roycroft Campus coppersmith and remained active into the mid century. I believe the Benedict website mentions them and has several examples of the work from the shop.

Anxiously await your pics.

Here is another query on the subject from a reader:

Dear Sir or Madam
I live in New Zealand and own a lacquered hand hammered copper vase made by
The Avon Coppersmith Avon NY.
It is 14.5 cm tall and 9cm wide at top. The rim and base are fluted. The
markings on the underneath are consistent with pictures I have seen on the
internet thus verifying it's origin.
It is in very good condition without any dents or gouges.
Could you please give me any information you have on pieces like this eg.
date of manufacture, value in the US, collectibility, etc
Kind regards
C. M.

I see a short history here., but no photos.

There is a history with images on the Benedict Studio Site.

Anyone have any images or info to share?
