This is a great lamp! Even with the condition issues on the shade. Can you tell what was used for the transluscent panels? Looks almost like lobster shell. Very impressive piece by this important maker.

It would definately be worth having the shade restored before the auction. The auction house may be able to have it done for you at your expense or you may decide to forego the restoration and let the buyer decide.
