Here's an odd brass humidor that has silver-colored lining. It has a winged 'merman' motif (2 of them on the humidor) and unusual punch marks on the humidor and lid. The lid has what looks like a carnation on the handle. Doesn't look American to me...could this be British? Chinese? or Japanese? (although I'm not familiar with Asian Arts and Crafts). Thanks for any info on this very interesting old humidor.

This humidor is rather confusing. The body decoration looks very English in style and execution. The lid looks very Oriental.

Sorry I cannot be of further help.
