This is a fluted bowl in raised copper by the little known craftsman Adolphe Kunkler of Boston. Kunkler was an active member of the Society of Arts & Crafts in Boston and worked in their Handicraft Shop during the early years of the Shop. He was also a wood engraver and his hand engraved signature seen on each of his metal pieces attests to his skill.

This bowl was shown at the JMW Gallery in Boston during their monumental exhibit "Affirmation and Rediscovery" and listed in the accompanying catalog of the same name.

The bowl is approximately 8" in diameter and is wonderfully patinated.
