I am trying to identify the "style" of a tray I have had for some years. It appears to be stamped from heavy sheet brass and is about a foot long. A photo is attached and in the next post is a close up of a decorative motif. There is no makers mark I could find.

A collector friend suggested it might be german "jugenstil" but I know very little about this. Perhaps the experts in the forum can come up with a better ID.

Your tray does appear to be European in origin. You are probably correct that it is stamped and not handwrought. Perhaps Austrian or German. A guess withoug maker's marks. Nice design.
