Here is a Stickley plaque that I repatinated after finding it highly polished at a local Antiques Fair. 6" dia. approz and the back is marked with a serifed number 17. The edge is folded back on itself to thicken it.
I used liver of sulfur patina and highlighted it carefully and waxed it with beeswax and turpentine paste. Fred Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ ![]() |

Mark,
Welcome to the forum and please consider signing up as a member. I am grateful to your son for his website and his willingness to share with us his knowledge and research. He explained that you had a great deal to do with his interest in antique copper metal of the A/C period and especially in the Syracuse area. Thank your for your compliments. When I have time I will complete my documentation of the making of the tray I duplicated. Fred (moderator) Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |
