Here is a Stickley plaque that I repatinated after finding it highly polished at a local Antiques Fair. 6" dia. approz and the back is marked with a serifed number 17. The edge is folded back on itself to thicken it.

I used liver of sulfur patina and highlighted it carefully and waxed it with beeswax and turpentine paste.

Hello Fred,

Beautiful Stickley Bros. heart tray, and very nice job of repatinating it. You do great work, as I have seen one of the trays you made from scratch. My son showed me the photo's of it in its different stages minus the match holder.

Great job

Regards,
Mark Wink

Mark,

Welcome to the forum and please consider signing up as a member. I am grateful to your son for his website and his willingness to share with us his knowledge and research. He explained that you had a great deal to do with his interest in antique copper metal of the A/C period and especially in the Syracuse area.

Thank your for your compliments. When I have time I will complete my documentation of the making of the tray I duplicated.
