Here is a piece I just had framed. It is repoussed and chased in 16 gauge copper.

Rikki,
Thanks for the compliment. The copper work is mine. I hope to make several others in different styles. Landscapes, flora, fauna etc. Next year I am teaching a workshop in Repoussed faces at the local City Parks & Rec center. My passion for metalwork is what has honed my interest and study of the A&C Movement. This closeup shows the relief created by use of the hammer and chasing and embosing tools. The thickness of the metal allows for this depth. Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |

Don,
It was your initial interest in metal techniques to make Ginkgo leaves that motivated me to make these. Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |
