Dear Rico,
We need photos and measurements. An image of the bottom of the piece always helps. Otherwise, it is very difficult to help you. Welcome to the forum. Bev . |

Rico,
Welcome to the forum. Bev is right, we will need images to be able to help you. I am not familiar with anyone working on period metalwork by that name. Is it the marks stamped or scratched in the base? There were a great many student metalsmiths who would mark their work once complete and most of these smiths will remain lost to anonimity. I do not know of any research on Florida Arts and Craft Societies. We look forward to seeing images of your piece. Fred Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |

Hello Bev, thanks for the welcome to the forum. at this time I have no photos of the humidor being that i just bought it the other day. there are no hallmarks, just "made by sh foulkes jr in miami". and that is scratched in by hand. the humidor has allot of tarnish and verdigris. it's rectangular in shape 6.5 x 5.5 in. if you go to benidict.com and you can see some just like the one I have except mine has a flat top no handle. it has riveted sides(legs) that are tapered at the end. unlike the ones on the site where there's are curled at the bottom. thanks
