Well we covered trench art and AC metalware, so now let's try wire art. I can't say I've seen much use of wire but here's an example I just picked up. It doesn't appear to be a refined shop piece but still a nice reflection of some home craftperson's work, including patina.

The base is about 5 1/2 inches (14cm) square, the candle socket is 1 inch (2.5cm) diameter, and the handle spiral is about 1 3/4 inches (4cm) in diameter. I'm not sure of the gauge (mental note, buy one of those micrometer thingys) but it's a medium weight, not too heavy, not too wimpy. Thanks for commenting Smile
