I have seen a lot of fake Archinald knox would be clocks for sale on ebay by a seller Decodesign4you.This are ruining the reputation of such a great artisan and I have complained to Ebay as these should be classed as Keyword Spamming. They are doing the same with CR Mackintosh I suggest that people reading this do the same and put a stop to these misleading auctions.

keyword spamming is a way of life on eBay - very difficult to get rid of

'arts and crafts' is highly overused as a general term plus stuff like 'Stickley era', but the worst in my opinion is 'Eames era' for all the 50s and 60s stuff (or junk, depending on how you look at it)

Charles,

In an open market we each need to educate ourselves to recognize quality. Ebay is offering a service and can not police each and every seller to verify that what they offer is what they are selling. I have seen a great many missrepresented auctions and have to shake my head as to why someone would spend good money on poor quality items.
