Hi all,
My house is below. Obviously many of the windows have been reworked but the both sets of bay windows are still origional. There also used to be a carport over the drive with a door to the carport roof/deck that came from the upstairs side room back when it used to be a boarding house in the 50s. thanks, Merrick http://stg77.com/4em3.jpg |

I like how the bedrooms are called chambers and how the "living room" is still called the parlour; a name that comes from Victorian times I believe. Nice place.

It's mighty close but I don't think it's a match. Look at the detail around that bay window on the second floor front, specifically how it fills that front gable.
The proportions aren't quite right. Note also the details around the front porch. This style home was very popular in the early 1900s, and while your home is very close, it's not a perfect match. Rose THornton author, The Houses That Sears Built co-author, California's Kit Homes |
