I have noticed numbers on the beam in our attic. Is there a way to determine if these are Sears markings. The home is in an area that built many kit homes for the mill workers in years gone by. How can I determine the origin of the numbers. Thank you

You can check out searsarchives.com. They have a whole section on the Modern homes and the Rembrandt is pictured. I don't know if this helps but the Sears Catalog number for the Rembrandt is P3215A or P3215B.

Send me a photo of the house and I'll take a look. My email is thorntonrose@hotmail.com.

Put, "arts and crafts" in the subject line so I won't miss it. I get lots and lots and lots of emails.
