Hello,
A picture or a link did not show up.. You know a great tool as well, and I believe it is often over looked by home owners, is to go to your local court house and research the deed to the property.. You can find out so much on the history of the home, previous owners, renovations (per building permits).. etc.. With a picture, we can probably tell you the kit, style etc.. But to really get down to it, Ceck with the court house.. spend a few bucks getting copies of everything.. For example.. Our home (a brick oriental mission) we found out that it was previous a victorian, then pre depression era, was remodeled and bricked to make it mission style.. the owner was a prominant Terre haute businessman, and a towering clock that is on display at the terre haute museum (I had admired the clock many times before) was from my house, and was donated by a prior owner to be used as a permanant display.. Funny things you can learn with local research.. Thanks... Rob Bennett |
