Lincoln Park is an Historic District full of 1920's and 30's era homes. We suspect ours is a Pacific Ready Cut home but have not found conclusive evidence.
There is an identical home a block away. The fixtures match the Ready Cut catalog offering.
Have you seen our house plan in a catalog?

Paul,

Pomona is LOADED with kit homes from Pacific Ready Cut. When I was in Pomona last year, we found more than a dozen in one part of Pomona. And quite a variety of designs, too.

The picture you attached does not match any of the designs in my personal field guide, but that field guide has only 300 or so designs, and PRCH had several hundred designs.

There are some other tell tale things to look for, too. This article contains a lot of information on those OTHER Things to look for.

Rosemary,
Thanks for the quick responce. It was your article in the Times the prompted my post.
While replacing an electrical outlet we found writing on a stud. We'd have to destroy plaster to reveal enough to read it so we continue to look at other clues. The sinks (kitchen and utility) are identical to the offering shown in your book.
There is a mfg. stamp on the original shake shingles. Do you know what shingle vendors Pacific used? Is there a resource for the other designs?

Perhaps Dale can answer this one, but I don't know what shingle vendors PRCH used. If they're shakes, I would *think* that they were milled at the PRCH factory (24 acres). But that's merely a guess.
