Does anyone know anything about Sears garages? Mine is a Simplex Sectional (The Avenue?), but I'm trying to pinpoint its date. The Triple Sliding Door style is different from the 1926 models (two long vertical panels and multiple panes of glass instead of one squarish panel.) Any clues. thanks

cool garage, i assume you are about to restore it. keep us posted with pictures. rose thornton, who appears to have visited just yesterday, is the sears expert around here, you can email her at thorntonrose@hotmail.com or wait until she visits again. just so i know where, did you get the garage info that you already have?

That is definately a Sears Simplex Garage! Although Sears sold lots of these sectional garages and cottages, they are very rare to find as most have been covered over with siding. Its even rarer to find them with original doors!
