Hi. I was told my house is a Sears Roebuck home.
It was built in Iowa in 1925. My house is almost identicle to the The Dayton (Model No. 3407) The Dayton Home but my roof line is different. Does anyone know? |

My money would be on GVT, due primarily to location, however, there are Sears Homes in Iowa (just as there are GVT homes in Illinois - and LOTS of them).
Shipping labels are a good bet, plus sometimes you'll get lucky and find part numbers on stamped lumber of the GVT. Perhaps Dale will stop by and answer this question more fully. He's the GVT expert. Rose author, The Houses That Sears Built |
