My husband and I just purchased an old bungalow in Oklahoma. We know that it was used as a hospital and clinic at one point and has undergone so many transformations and poor remodeling jobs. We hope to restore it as closely as possible to its original grandeur. If you can help identify my home and give me some possible leads as to what it might have once looked like, I would greatly appreciate it. I am unsure as to how to attach a photo, but I have lots of pictures of the home at www.photos.yahoo.com/melindascales under the heading "210 N Clark." Thanks, Melinda

Boy, that's a real toughie, but if I had to guess, I'd guess it's a transmogrification of a Sears Osborn...
But that's a guess. That is a beautiful home but has been through lots and lots of changes. Yikes. Rose author, The Houses That Sears Built |

We have old homes that are like your in Long Beach CA, we have historical buildings you may want to link up with them, longbeach.gov. they have a historical society that preserves old homes such as yours. I always wanted to find out about this home I painted inside of. It was bui9lt in 1923, a spanish revivle home. We also have bungalows in that same park that people live in. It is called Carroll Park. They are historical buildings.
