my wife and i recently purchased our first home in chappaqua, ny. we believe our home is a sears bungalow kit home - "collingwoood" model.

is there a way we can find out if our home is listed on any formal registry of sears kit homes?

Hi Bob-

There is no formal registry of Sears homes. When the Modern Homes division of Sears closed, they destroyed all records. There is a list of people who own Sears homes at searsarchives.com that you can list your house at but it isn't a comprehensive list.
