Sears had the millwork factory in Norwood Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati so there are lots of examples of Sears Homes, such as this Alhambra on Central Terrace in Wyoming Ohio

but go down the street and you'll find ...

a Gordon-VanTine #605 from circa 1923, and ....

a Gordon-VanTine #534 , circa 1923

Oh how cool!!! I totally stink at IDing GVTS - I've spotted 3 of the house that looks like a cross between a Rodessa and a Crescent - can't remember the number of it but other than that - no GVT's for me!

Did you notice that right across the street from the Alhambra on Central Terrace is what looks to be a Sears Matoka?

Donna

Did you know that you can go to the Hamilton County Auditor's website and look at pics of almost every house in Hamilton County for free?
