Years ago there was an article about color schemes for bungalows and other houses of the period by John Crosby Freeman in The Old House Journal. At the end of the article,they had some info saying that he was writing a book called The Joy of Color,A color guide to America's romantic houses,1900 to 1950.
I just know the main title was Joy of Color.
Anyhow,he made an appearence at the Lowe's on IH_35 and O'Conner Road back in 2000 something.
And at Lowe's in advertising his appearence they mentioned this book.
Unfortunately I couldn't get there the day he was supposed to appear.
I was wondering,was the book ever published,and where can I get a copy?I have tried at Amazon and Barnes and Nobles to find it and no luck.
Haven't tried Alibris yet.

I noticed that he is coming out with a book titled: Historic Architectural Trimwork: Authentic Measured Drawings for Mantels, Moldings, Doorways, Arches, Staircases, Entryways, Columns, and More that can be pre ordered. It's coming out in October of 2008.
