I live in L.A. & always looking for early 1900s architecture books, like Henry Wilson "the draughstman" magazine/gazzette.
If anybody has any leads on original copies for sale, please let me know. I like collecting anything that has to do with early 1900s L.A. Thanks Mario |

Hello Mario,
Have you tried Barnes and Noble Books? They usually have many different hard to find books. Respectfully, Ralph Jones www.ralphjoneswoodworking.com |

I found at Barnes and Nobles a copy of a 1918 Sterling Homes catalog for sale for $1.99 from California. Didn't buy it cause I couldn't believe the price.Went back, and someone had purchased it.Boy was I stupid.!!!??? |

Your best bet is hitting the estate sales if you want the "real" thing- I've found some fabulous old architecture books at estate and even garage sales. Just takes time. For quicker results, try ebay - sometimes you can buy for very low prices if it's not a "hot" collector item.
