I was just going through a magazine I acquired a few months ago, and I noticed that there were a few advertisements in it that were interesting.

I made a collection of the ads and added a few links to interesting reading about the companies or schools that are represented.

the illustration on the cover of this issue of the studio, and many more, has become a matter for debate at <a href="http://lotusgreenfotos.blogspot.com/2008/08/ethel-lancombe.html">my blog</a>.

i'm convinced it's by ethel larcombe based on several other illustrations i've found that are very similar to this one and that are attributed to her.

but some feel they see a 'B" in the foliage below their feet and thinks this proves it's not her.

does anyone know for sure?
