for those who may not know, margaret macdonald was the wife of charles rene macintosh, famous scottish architect,furniture designer and graphic artist.
they collaborated on many commissions, including menus for tea rooms they designed to posters and bookplates like the one posted. one of my many as yet unfulfilled dreams is to visit glasgow and edinbourgh to see their work. thanks for the post. |
