If you are into "Old Chicago" architecture and the history of the Chicago ELevated train system then this book is a MUST READ!

Filled with over 240 rare or never seen pictures
of the city of Chicago's over 100 year old train system and the surrounding architecture built after the fire. Very educational reading!

Did you know that the first "L"train (L train #1) that transported people to and from the Chicago World's Fair back in 1893 had stained glass?

You have to check this book out!

Greg Borzo Author, The Chicago "L" Charleston Arcadia Publishing 2007.

Yes, I also live just steps away from the L. I live on the top floor of my building and I have a panoramic view of Edgewater. I can see the L roar by everyday from my windows.

I love Edgewater Beach, Chicago!
