I thought members of this discussion might be interested to learn of the following bibliogrpaphy of the Elston Press of New Rochelle, NY.
Notes on the History of the Elston Press Founded by Clarke Conwell and his artist wife Helen Marguerite O'Kane in 1905, the press was the first and most successful American press to copy the Kelmscott Press style. A illustrated discussion of the books, papers, typefaces, and artwork are accompanied by a checklists of books, prospectuses, and announcements printed at the Elston Press. Please consider taking a look. {fixed broken link} |

Thanks for the notice and the post. Is this your research that you are publishing? Please consider joining as a member. It would be great to have someone who is versed in the written word and private presses of the time.
As a member you could perhaps post images of the book. Fred Moderator. Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |
