Hi folks! I'm a noob here, but a confirmed AC junkie and I look forward to learning much from this forum!

I have run across this unusual lamp, and wonder if anyone can help provide me some info as to maker/age/classification.

Measures 20" tall from base to finial (which I doubt is original) - and only 3" deep. Shade is mica with raised, handpainted rose motif. Only marking on the lamp is the No. "1505" on the bottom of the scroll base. It has been rewired, but the socket has a Pat. July 6 1909 date on it.

Would this be considered AC? Deco? Nouveau? Or a combination of all three? Thanks, folks!

What an interesting lamp, never seen anything like it.

My first impression is Art Deco, based on the form, but the use of Mica and the motif on the shade...perhaps transitional and not American?

I'm new to all this so... just guesstimating.

Take it the finial is a replacement?

I saw this same lamp in an antique mall in Orange Ca. in Sept, by chance is that where you picked it up? It actually brought me into the shop. I thought it was pretty cool myself.
I have no information for you though, sorry.
