Is this or is this not an Arts and Crafts lamp? It has very unique cut out wood shade with vibrant green cathedral stained glass. The base is wild--unlike anything that I have seen. The lamp has no markings what so ever.

Enjoy.

{P.S. If some one could post the picture, I would appreciate. I just can't make it work for that website.)

This happens when Arts & Crafts meets Art Deco. Sometimes it works in a Prairie School or Modernist sort of way, but sometimes it doesn't.

Pictures on Rubylane are scripted so that you can't right click and save, or right click and copy-paste the url to get them to post on other sites, but if you want to go to the trouble you can 'print screen' then copy into 'Paint' or another graphics program, edit, then save, then upload to your photo account and then post somewhere...too much work.

Thanks for the feedback about that website. No wonder I couldn't make it do anything.

Pretty cool but weird lamp. I think that the base take away from the A & C features of the shade.

I don't know if that lamp would kick, scream and fight in a home furnished with real A & C stuff or blend. Somes the odd piece gives a room a little extra something special or could spoil the entire effect. I guess that it would depend upon the kind of stuff you have in your house. It would certainly be a "conversation piece" or it could start a discussion on your state of mind when you bought it. ("Did you lose your mind?" Or "What were you thinking of!!!!!")

It's a unique lamp and I have no idea who could have made something like that.

Another way to look at it: Is it worth $550.00? Nope.

Yikes! I didn't look at the price because I wasn't going to buy it. (I'm not in the market for a lamp with a green shade.)

You are right. It is not worth $550.00!!!

Bev, my husband makes A&C/mission lamps. Are you interested? They all wood with either stained glass or mica shades. Each one is unique. If you'd like pictures, e-mail me and I'll send them to you separately. I'll just attach 1 now......
