We have an old mica shade that is in need of cleaning / rejuventation. I have read that a damp cloth can be used, any other ideas?

Thanks

The only thing you should use is a damp cloth. You want to get the dust/dirt off without removing the patina of age, which is desirable. Avoid any cleaners since solvents are usually harmful to finishes of any kind.
