I am in need of some information. I have a lamp base marked 1457 on the bottom. The beautiful slag shade has been misplaced (lost) and I am looking for another. It was my Grandmother's and has great sentimental value to me. Ebay always has some that are similar. Can anyone tell me what company made this? I just don't know exactly what to look for.

It's hard to base a maker by a cataloge number alone, if you could post an image and what material the base is made from would be a big help, such as wood, copper, pottery or your basic metal.
