Yes, it turned out to be a good auction. I wish that I could have kept the lamp, but it really does belong in a museum. My cats or kids would certainly have trashed it at some point! I'm still trying to find out who bought it. It's safe to say we'll probably never see one like that again. I'm thinking of trying to make a shade similar to this one for fun. I'm sure it will lack the sophistication of a real Palmer, but it's all I've got now!
