We just bought a lamp on ebay. The seller had no idea what it was, so we got it for a song. Here it is:


Any ideas on the manufacturer? Once it arrives, I will post better pictures and try to find a shopmark or other identification.

These are enamelled sheet metal, made in the 40's to 50's (I had one dated 56 once), maybe sooner, so I guess you can call it "Mid-Century Modern"...sometimes called UFO lamps for obvious reasons; all the rage at the time of the Roswell incident and all the other UFO stuff at the time. These are pretty common, but still funky.
