I came across this "beauty" this morning. It could hang above your pool table in your five million dollar estate. It is gorgeous.

The bidding will be kept private. The buy now price is $58,000. This piece should be in a museum. It is painted glass in the style of the Pre-Raphelites and attributed to John La Farge. His stained glass windows are all over upstate New York and they are always stunning.

Here is a picture from the website--shot of the entire lamp. It it lit and you can see down one side and an end panel.

Here is another picture. This shows the god Neptune riding the waves pointing his trident at the shore.

This is a close up of the lamp

This is a shot of the other side of the lamp when it is not lit. You can really see the design of the lead cane here.

Another close up

This photo shows a young woman floating in the water while a man peers at her from the shore.

You are lucky that I am not doing all of the photos. At least, I am not bidding on this lamp. I wonder who will end up with it?

Last one, I promise. It is my favorite pannel--a stunning sunset.

Enjoy.

La Farge was a great designer and painter and his work is very desirable. Thanks for sharing this auction. The lamp is great!
