Ok, last one from my local dealer. Here is a really neat lamp but no one knows who made it. When you look close it is obvious that the screws on the top were once covered by square wooden pieces. It might be possible that they were removed so that someone could take the top off and carve the candle cutout into the shade (it really doesn't seem original). In any case, it's a really neat lamp.

Looks like this lamp has made it to ebay (look closely at the grain flake - seems to be the exact same lamp)...

Yeah, that's it. I was wondering if anyone would notice. I saw it up on ebay yesterday. Looks like it is getting some bids. I saw it at my local dealers after the pyramid screw covers were added. They actually look better than in the pictures... Still don't know who made it but it is reall nice.

follow up - the lamp didn't make reserve at $510.00..maybe bidders were thinking this, or a version of this:
Gus lamp from the 1910 catalog and plans for same from a 1909 issue of the Craftsman
