Here is a picture of a special pendant lampshade. I was told it was special by an expert stain glass maker. Because of the types of glass used rippled glass and opalescent glass. Using a tiffany copper foil wrap technique to secure the pieces together.

I paid $40.00 for it at an antique shop, and was told by an expert stained glass maker that the shade alone is worth several hundreds of dollars. And that this particular one was rare.
He was very excited to see it.

I seen one exactly like it in a victorian mansion except they used slag glass pieces which is not expensive.

It is hanging in my doorway with the original mission style hardware. Which hangs from the ceiling the hardware is copper or brass and perfectly tarnished.

Absolutly beautiful looks like pendant jewelry when it's turned on. You can see the "fire" in
the opalescent glass when it's turned on. The expert glass maker told me that they used gold dust to get the colour in the rippled glass.

Mint condition.
circa late 1800s early 1900s

Cool, but you've got to show it lit up! I've got a stained glass porch fixture as well that's sqaure with many different colors. I'll have to pull it out and shoot a pic or two.
