Hello!
I just purchased a Van Erp Lamp Base, which has ended a long search. I have a shade to match, which I can finally enjoy. My question is, the base has a newer light socket, and I would like to find something more original. Does anyone know what type of socket the lamp might have had? The lamp is circa 1915 to 1929. Thanks in advance for your help! Best, Dan |

Congratulations on you purchase of the lamp and shade! Please let us see images of your lamp so we can share in you acquisition.
There are retailers that specialize in old lamp parts. Does you lamp have three sockets or are you just trying to replace one? Best, Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |

Hi Fred,
It is just a bean pot, with a single socket. Best, Dan |

If its the base that was just on ebay Im thinking it takes a double socket. Geting that exact socket is going to be difficult and quite exspensive. I would have never paid that price for that base but then again I didn't have the shade for it which you do. Congrats on your find.
Thanks Again Mark & Melissa P.S What do the initials stand for? |
