I am trying to find an unusual socket to fit a European A&C wooden pole lamp.
The electrician that is replacing the wiring has never seen anything like this. Does anyone have a lead on a vintage lamp part or company that sells vintage parts?? This is a beautiful lamp and I would really like to restore it. Thank you for any help you can provide. I am sending a photo of it. The riser is missing and the A5 socket screws onto the metal attachment at the top of the wood. ![]() |

Try Rejuvenation Hardware. There was a time that they would restore old fixtures and use reproduction cloth wires. You can also buy the old fashioned light bulbs from them. They sell any kind of lamp parts you want.

Sorry if I was unclear. The section on the right is a bakelite socket cluster which is not reusable because the electical parts are bad. The top portion where the shade and finial would sit is also broken.
The wooden portion on the left is how the cluster attaches to the pole lamp. We are trying to find a socket cluster which has the screw for the shade and finial that will fit this unit. Any suggestions. This came from Europe originally. |

I gotcha...I have 2 myself, unfortunately they're not coming off the lamps I own
I've never seen them as a separate piece, not that I've looked specifically, but this is the kind of thing that you find at a dealer show because there always seems to be one guy with boxes and boxes of lamp parts. Try eBay as well, because they actually have a section for lamp parts and restoration, I think its: Collectables>Lamps>Parts or something like that. |
