Hi. I think these windows may be Arts and Crafts slag glass. Does anyone know anything about them? They have been in storage at an old house I bought. I love the colors and am thinking of restoring them. Anyone know what they are worth? Wondering if they are worth the cost of restoring the frames. They have a couple of minor cracks and some slight bowing.
Thanks. I wish I knew more about where they were made. |

douglasbruno,
Please give us a link to a photo of your windows. We'd love to help you but we need to see them. Lauren |

You can do the frames yourself: use Jasco or similar stripper( the eco-friendly stuff just does not work, unfortunately! ); sand and then stain. The leading looks pretty good from here; any minor issues with the leading could be fixed fairly inexpensively. Personally, I wouldn't sink a lot of money into them. They are nice but also fairly common. I'd re-do the frames and live with the imperfections. If keeping out the elements is an issue, you can mount plexi-glass over the outside portion.
