I would like my own mica shade that has complex curves (two-dimensional), with mica flakes in a mould. However, what do you use so it will release the shellacked mica from the mold? Mold release or what. Or just an article on making a mica sheets. In addition, there is something about “canvas” that gives the mica sheets that cloth print.

Good questions - it would be awesome if someone who has made their own would give us a step by step, otherwise it's trial and error and googling for advice
