I found this pretty little lamp at an estate sale, and after some fierce bargaining, got it for $50. It's about 15" high, and looks like the base is made of bronze.
On the underside of the base, very faint (unphotographably faint) are the numbers 3 0 9 and a symbol or shield of some kind. Maybe an 8-pointed star or a leaf of some sort, with a round-ish shape in the middle, perhaps an acorn.) It almost brings to mind the flower symbol Senior Member Rikki uses as her avatar. Any suggestions on how to find out what the symbol is, or other ways to identify the lamp? Photos below: Below is a clay impression of the symbol. I know it's very faint, but if anyone has Photoshop creds, maybe they can play around and bring out more detail... Thanks for any assistance. |

Hi,
Rewire it! lol, that's some scary looking tape. I can't make out the impression at all... but the first thing that popped into my mind was perhaps Mosaic. Does it use foil? |

Thanks, I did re-wire it. Not sure what you're asking when you said "does it use foil"? Can you clarify, using words of one syllable?
