A&C Quilts
My wife is a quilter and we live in a c. 1914 Craftsman style house. Were there any "Bungalow or Arts and Crafts" style quiilts made? Blocks? Patterns? If there are any quilters with info about quilting in the Arts and Craft period or style, pleas email her at QuilterPeg@centurytel.net Thanks |

Although there are no signiture A & C quilts, they were very much a pert of the A & C bedroom. I have seen a quilt made from 8" squares of A & C print Fabric, but by far the more common type are the plain colored squares usually in wool. these have log cabin simplicity.
There are also european examples of a wholecloth quilts that use a A & C print for the whole quilt. I hope this is helpful to you paul freeman-textileguy |

I've been wondering the same thing. Have you found Arts and Crafts style quilts, or patterns?

Lorrie,
That is a great site. Textiles are not well documented and it iw wonderful to see the information in print. Fred Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |

Oh my goodness - those quilts are just lovely.
I can just picture them in an arts and crafts bedroom. Those quilts must just make the wood seem to glow. |
