hello everyone, long time reader first time poster. Wink I am in the process of ripping out an old fireplace and hearth and replacing it with a new wood burning stove and hearth. I've noticed that there don't seem to be many wood stoves in the a and c theme, but I heat with wood so i'm gonna make it part of it. Does anyone have any pictures or images of a wood burning stove in a craftsman or a and c theme? Thanks!

We put in an insert instead of ripping out the old fireplace and hearth. It fits so well that it looks like it was meant to be there.

...we installed a gas fireplace and built ins in our newer home- nothing there before but a blank wall. We found a great deal on handmade tiles and found a craftsman looking slimline gas insert. There's a lot of beautiful ones around, saw an amazing hammered copper surround (if $$ are no object).

It's beautiful! I love it.

I just had my ornate coal stove insert brought up to code, drop down liner, chimney cap and some brick work, and am waiting for a metal band to give it a tighter fit. It's an old beauty.

I can use coal or wood.

Hello everyone and thanks for the replies. However it wasn't what I was looking for as I am using a STOVE not a fireplace or insert. I'm starting to think that wood burning stoves were not really part of the a and c style???????

Well...Maybe in the kitchen. But the fireplace, hearth and sometimes the inglenook are really more in the A&C style.
