I'm back for more!! Nearly ready to post photos. On my commercial project, we are trying to decide whether to use doug fir or southern yellow pine on the ceiling. The trusses are cypress in arts & crafts fashion. What do you all think will match this the best? The trusses hang out mostly right up by the ceiling. Would love to hear opinions. The price is the exact same. So far I have read that doug fir will darken more and is softer but fuzzier looking as well. I need to make my decision *tonight*!!! Yikes. I would have posted earlier but didn't know we had an option until today.

Open to suggestions, please be a part of our decision and I'll post the final photos!!
