I did a quick search and found the following link: A. A. Vantine page. Evidently one of his descendants put together this handy biography which also explains a bit about his import business. Do you have a photo of the piece that you might share?

Does anyone have any additional info about the A. A. VanTine Co. or the import trade in general as it pertains to the A&C movement?
