hi,
am just new here.and am happy to see a site for arts..i dont know why its just now that i surf for a site like this.

anyway, just want so share my present hobby right now. i think this is common. i do paint and make phototransfer to mugs..and am happy because for a few months, many loved and like my works...maybe because am artist by nature .

my question is:
1.is there any means to preserve more longer the design/color except for the decal and clear lacquer spray? any techniques you want to share?

2.i remember, when i was in college,in our entrepreneur subject, i tried painting broken tiles i bought from tiles shop and paint them.(quotations, poems, songs, nature's pix)..we sell those craft.but that last for only 2 weeks.its part of the subject to sell your product. i want to do it again but this time i want to know w/ch applicable paint should be used..and what to spray for better look.

3.related to # 2, what shld be used to cut/repai the tile...of course it needs stand..and what to use as a paste..

hope to hear form the group..
by the way, am juliet from philippines, working as an accountant but art is my passion..hope to have shop someday and leave the office.. Smile

please read the home page about this forum.

it is dedicated to the discussion of the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century.

it is not a forum to discuss current hobbies or other form of crafts.

unless this is your interest, you should probably look elsewhere for input.

thanks
