My new purchase is a Peters and Reed vase. Here is the picture. I just really liked it and blew my budget. I will use is as a vase for sunflowers in my Arts and Crafts still life paintings. I figure since I collect it, why not use what I have as props.

Anyway, I bought it on E-bay and had no idea how large the vase. It is 13 1/4 inches high. It could hold a dozen sunflowers. It looks great on my old mission dining room table.

Yea, it was worth to blow the budget on this one. It has an ivy leaf motif at the flared top with straight stems coming off the leaves. It makes a really neat patter. I saw that, and figured it will be a wonderful vase to draw and paint.

Very nice find on the Moss Aztec vase, don't recall seeing that pattern before, but nice size vase. Any signature?

No signature. When I got it from E-bay, I had no idea that it was going to be so monumental. The scale of the vase would work for giant sunflowers, glads, or any other huge flower.

I am very happy with the purchase. I just wish that it had been cheaper.
