From the Mailbox:

I have been searching high and wide for someone to assist me in identifying a vase I recently purchased at an estate auction. The base of the vase is marked "Fulper", but not being an expert on the subject I am not sure whether it is the real thing or a fake. The mark is hard to distinguish, but I can tell you that the U is slanted. I believe it is a flambe glaze and measures approximately 12 inches in height and is bulbous in shape. The inside of the vase is also glazed and it is quite heavy. I am attaching some pictures and would really be appreciative if anyone can help me identify this lovely vase. If you require additional information, please let me know.

Thanking you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Regards,
S.L.

Looks to be classic Fulper to my eyes. The glaze is typical and so is the shape.

Best,
Fred
