Hello everyone,

I picked up this bowl at an estate auction, and I just love how it looks. I know nothing about pottery, but I'll try to describe it further. I see clearly on the inside and outside the ridges where it appears the potter spun the bowl around (could this be faked?). There is some crackling in the glaze. The only marking on the bottom is "Peggy". If there is anything else I could mention, please let me know. I thank you kindly for any help you can offer.

I'm sorry BeccaBoom but your piece looks like it is a contemporary piece of porcelain, possibly a student piece or from a local craftsperson. Contemporary pottery is outside of the scope of this site and the members are unlikely to be able to help identify the maker.
