My family is planning a trip to the Ohio River area (Pittsburgh PA, Marietta OH, Covington KY, Cincinnati OH) in September. We are interested in visiting any tile & pottery makers in the area....
in the Arts & Crafts tradition, of course.....
with the idea of purchasing tiles for our use, and carrying tiles in our art gallery in the future.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

rookwood pottery was in cincinnati but closed long ago. i believe the is a resturant in the old building called the Rookery. you could at least have a nice meal in the building and possibly absorb some of the aura.

i you had a chance to go farther east in PA to doylestown you could visit the moravian tile works and mercers castle.
